As Chief Technology Officer, Jesse P. Shade oversees all aspects of Tower’s technologies, including cybersecurity, systems architecture, disaster recovery, and the maintenance and enhancement of its internal systems for MSAs and Section 111 compliance. Jesse works closely with CEO Rita Wilson on Tower’s annual SOC 2 Type II audit.
Responsible for the strategic planning of IT initiatives, Jesse leads and manages Tower’s IT staff along with its software and infrastructure projects while also developing the company’s complex technology solutions. His responsibilities include SQL Server development, data modeling, and analysis along with .NET development in Visual Studio using Entity Framework, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS.
An accomplished senior information systems professional, Jesse also writes and speaks on IT and cybersecurity in industry forums. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, an invitation-only community of world-class CIOs, CTOs, and technology executives, and has published on Forbes.com.
Jesse joined Tower in 2018, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the design and development of technology solutions in a wide variety of industries, including aviation, banking, defense, energy, government, and manufacturing as well as insurance. He is a graduate of the New England Institute of Technology.
