Rita M. Wilson

Chief Executive Officer

As co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tower MSA Partners, Rita Wilson oversees business development, sales, marketing and identifies new service offerings to support Medicare Secondary Payer compliance. She is also the driving force behind Tower’s technology and commitment to cybersecurity and efficient processes.

Rita’s background includes serving as Director of Research and Development for QS/1 Data Systems, which developed pharmacy management software. Her team created the standards used for information exchange between group health pharmacy benefit managers and pharmacies.

Rita later joined DirectCompRx, Inc, a start-up workers’ compensation PBM and a subsidiary of Fiserv, Inc. She built out its operational and technology model and eventually became the company’s CEO. After relocating to Florida, she founded Select MRI, LLC. In addition, Rita provided technology consultation to an MSP compliance company.

In 2011, Rita teamed with Kristine Dudley to establish Tower MSA Partners. Together, they designed a technology environment that automated many of the MSP compliance and MSA preparation processes. Tower’s MSP Automation Suite was the first platform to seamlessly integrate every aspect of MSP compliance from Section 111 reporting, conditional payments, pre-MSA triage, clinical interventions, and MSA preparation, submission and approval.

Rita continues to stay on top of the latest technologies and trends, especially security threats. She makes sure Tower’s IT systems and processes maintain the most stringent standards of protection and oversees the company’s annual SOC 2 Type II audit.

Rita received a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC and completed graduate studies at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. She was the 2018 President of the National Alliance of Medicare Set Aside Professionals (NAMSAP), now the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network (MSPN).
